Guitar Prasanna has made it as a finalist in two different categories of the International Songwriting Competition, one of the most well known songwriting competitions in the world. ISC 2005 apparently had 15,000 total entries from all over the world and they picked 10 to 15 entries from them in each category for the final round. His composition Snakebanger's Ball (from Electric Ganesha Land) made it in the 'Instrumental' category and Ragabop (from Be the Change) in the 'Jazz category'.
